I kayak frequently on rivers ranging from slow calm waters to class III whitewater. I wanted something portable I could easily travel with and that I could throw in a backpack and explore new places. I had modest expectations given the price, but I am very happy with my purchase. It's super light and comfortable. Tracking isn't the best, but it is very responsive and maneuverable on the water. It very stable and handled a 5 mile run of class II-III rapids like a champ. I worry about the durability of the material over time, but that's the trade off you make when you buy a 3 pound boat. I'm already planning trips to places I'd never be able to take my 30 pound inflatable kayak.
