This is an awesome and beautiful boat. Joe from Redfish is incredible with his craftsmanship. In addition to that, this is the fastest boat that Redfish makes. It is only 36 pounds and moves quickly through the water. I have no issues with weathercocking and stability is just fine. Turning is also natural and effortless, This is the best performing and nicest looking kayak I have ever experienced in my 20 years of paddling. As a bonus, Joe offers excellent service and advice to his customers, I highly recommend his kayaks, paddles, and kayak seats.

I ordered Redfish because I was worried about support during the building process. Joe was always helpful and got me thru the building process. My Return is beautiful. Like paddling glass. I am now racing it and am doing very well. I always get comments on my work of art. Thank you Joe!

What a beautiful boat! What a great boat on the water! The total package.
Let me start off by saying, I'm a crappy woodworker. Spent most of my life as a millwright and a mechanic. Good with a welder, lousy with a saw. I opted to go to Port Townsend, WA and take the class at Redfish. Joe is an all around master. Woodworking, art, design, plus an ability to convey wisdom, even to a hard headed Swede. (tough job!) The end result is a kayak anybody would be proud of. A floating, functional, work of art. The best part, if I can do it, so can you!
