I bought my Ocean Kayak Camo Trident 4.3 for fishing in the Gulf of Mexico. I made some modifications like a pulling line deployable sea anchor, also I purchased the modular ice box that fits inside the rear compartment perfectly. I mostly paddle while dragging a steel leader skirt jig for mainly top water predators ie shark, mackerel, tuna, mahi, and sometimes even a cobia. I use beach wheels to transport the kayak since I live near the beach, utilizing my golf cart to pull the kayak down to the waters edge. It’s a great product, I have not been kind to it at all and with some simple green and a brush, this kayak and gear cleans up like new again. It’s pretty much bullet proof in my opinion. Standing up isn’t recommended but hauling butt across the water is easy enough. No electronics for me, just Navionics on my IPhone for Situational Awareness (SA) and weather.
