Yesterday, I received my new Danuu Paddi (paddle) bag that I purchased on-line from Danuu. I bought it to carry my Werner Shuna and Camano kayak paddles after exchanging e-mails with Danuu to ensure that both would fit and they both fit just fine. I would mention that there is a center divider that divides the bag into two compartments. But when storing two break-down paddles, you have four blades / shafts and by design, the blade /shafts on either side of the divider do touch each other. I don't think this will be an issue for me as I'm not concerned about some incidental scuffing between the blades / shafts while in the bag as they get much worse treatment while in use.
The bag is well constructed of a heavy weight material. It's well padded and will adjust to handle various break-down paddle lengths. My longest is a 230 and there is lots of room to spare. I think this bag will do a fine job of keeping my paddles together and protected during transport and as it was on sale when I purchased.
The $44 (including shipping) price tag was a real bargain. Also, the shoulder strap has multiple attachment points and is adjustable so you should be able to carry is just about any manner that is comfortable to you. I think this was a good purchase.
PS:
I just discovered that the center divider is actually a pocket with a long section of stiff plastic that runs the length of the bag. The divider opens/closes with velcro to reveal the plastic in the center. If you are carrying 2 break down paddles (4 blades / handles), you can place one paddle section on each side of the center divider and two sections inside of the divider with each separated by the plastic. In this way, all paddle sections are separated from each other. Now, I really like this bag!
