Love this SUP. Walked on with…

Love this SUP. Walked on with no experience the first day on the lake (I'm a 110 lb. middle aged female and less than 5'4" and no super sports person. Have never fallen off, even when the 65 lb. labradoodle who rides with me hangs over the front and falls off from boat wake. I've had so many friends try it that I should be an SUP salesman and they love it. I got an electric pump. I'd rather get my workout during the 3 hour lake trips. It is best for someone who is less than 6 ft. The taller family and friends have some stability problems. Highly recommend. I can throw it in the car trunk, be on the lake in minutes or take it on trips easily. Rode the river in Columbus, GA with no problem.
Pros
SO STABLE, have had for 2 years and take the large dog, very strong and durable. Easy to lift and transport and put in bag. Tracks well.
Cons
The rubber lifts a little but E6000 glue solved that. It's addictive!
Usage
On the lake, have had on the river but not in the 2 and greater rapids, in the ocean but not in waves greater than 1 foot. I take my labradoodle with me and she loves it. I feed the ducks at the lake. They like it too!

This is a fun SUP for rivers and smaller rapids. It has 3 removable fins, lightweight and comes with a pump and bag. It tracks fairly well but doesn't have a lot of speed. It responds to turns pretty well.
Pros
Size and shape for running rapids and surfing
Cons
Nothing
Usage
River paddling

I took the Czar for a week…

I took the Czar for a week trip of surfing on the North Shore of Oahu. It was my first time SUP on the ocean and the Czar was an excellent choice. Got into a couple of overhead waves and learned to catch them (what a learning curve!). Caught the wave of my life as this board carries speed and does allow you to ride waves but realistically, not doing cut backs or airs. :) One day it was quiet and used it to paddle a mile to Waimea Bay and back. The board is solid and at only $25 each way a deal!
Pros
Great surf lines
Good rocker
Stable
Cons
Fins vibrated on the overhead waves (was going really fast)
In surf, iSUP's are really light and tall which make them like a sail. When it got windy I went to my knees between sets.
Usage
Wave surfing, river running, and flat water.

I had a chance to run a Czar down a few rivers and absolutely loved it. The description is spot on that the Czar is made for larger (I prefer "extra American") paddlers. It was super stable and handled everything I put it through with flying colors! This is definitely a great river board for larger paddlers. I can always trust NRS to make a great product.
Pros
Stable
Handles rivers well.
Cons
Usage
River running

Bought this board to run…

Bought this board to run rivers. Broke away from my hard heavy plastic board. So far I'm impressed with its stability! A wave pushed me to one side of the board where I was balancing almost on one foot. My previous board whould have thrown me. This one didn't. Another time my fin caught on a submerged log and I was thrown forward to my knees rather awkwardly. Maintained my balance and stayed on top and dry. Very excited about this new purchase.
Pros
Pretty much everything! I weigh 230 lbs and the added thickness of the board works for me.
Cons
No complaints!
Usage
Running rivers. Some smaller rapids. Occasionally some flat water.
