Used this boat primarily as a single in spite of the size and weight (moving this thing around by yourself is troublesome). It is very stable in big water and surf as well as being a tremendous gear hauler; you can stand on the deck, lay on it, perhaps have a dance on it. The seats are comfortable and dry when taking it easy. It is fast and tracks well for it's size, however, the frame seat tends to shift back and forth a few inches in it's footings when one tries to really put the power down. Also of note, the high seating position and bow means you will have a very bad time going into the wind.

Love this kayak. I got it last summer 2020 and have been out multiple times now. As a tandem it is unbeatable. As a single, the position is perfect to scrape your knuckles on the carry handles. The one design flaw. Still love this boat though.

I bought this kayak for my wife and I. After seeing it on Dan's Headwaters YouTube channel, I added it to my list of tandem kayaks I was considering. After a lot of research of both the kayak and the company I decided on this kayak.

Sadly in the KC area, there is no Crescent dealer within hundreds of miles, so I bought it from a dealer in Omaha, NE. Because of 2020... I ordered the kayak in December and got it in April. I was pleasantly surprised that I actually had a kayak in my hands that was barely a week old when I received it from the dealer.

I have now taken it out more than a half-dozen times. Both as a tandem and as a single. This thing is enjoyable to paddle. Yes, its bulk takes a little getting used to, (I generally paddle sit-ins that are quite a bit more narrow), but once it gets going it glides for days and tracks straight as an arrow. The stability is fantastic. I have actually went out and bought a SUP paddle to use it as I stand up. I have also found the elevated rear sitting position to be nice when paddling tandem. It allows me to see straight ahead over my wife's head.

For a third kayak, this kayak is starting to become the most used.
