Love this little yak....

Love this little yak. Stable, (almost too stable), tracks and handles great. Comfortable, lightweight ABS, checks in at 12-feet long, 24.5-inches wide and tips the scale at 42-pounds. The cockpit might be a bit tight for larger folks (I’m 5’ 11” weigh 175 and broad). Have used it in ocean, bays, rivers and flat water, doesn’t seem to care where we go, which is why I bought it. Surprisingly quick and handles waves well. Went looking at it’s big bother, the Halo, however, the extra cost, weight and second “full” hatch just didn’t add up…that one’s a beauty as well. Pura is well built, could be a tad lighter. A bit pricey (what isn’t?), but all in all, a fun kayak for someone who relishes paddling any water, any time. Might have a couple of quibbles but definitely, no regrets. Lives on my roof rack most of the summer, ready for any water that needs a paddler…or paddler that needs water….

I love my BD kayak. It...

I love my BD kayak. It tracks easily through the largest waves. Has lots of storage space and weighs only 42 lbs. Absolutely the best!
