Manta Ray 4-Piece Paddle

I was looking for an inexpensive paddle to take on an airline without excess baggage charges. This paddle fit my requirements very well. It's a reasonable weight, and a good, all-around sea kayaking paddle. The only problem is that the metal button part connectors are made from a poor quality steel. They rusted away in less than two years, requiring replacements. My environment is the salty sea, and rinsing with freshwater every day is not always an option. Sea water is a foreseeable use for a sea kayak paddle, so they should be built with a MARINE GRADE stainless steel.
