I have been paddling for several years including racing. I purchased this board to train on and absolutely love it! Fast, stable and really fun in the surf!
Pros
This board is the best of both worlds as both fast and stable. I was also told that it may be difficult to maneuver but I have not had the issue.
Cons
A little heavier than I would like as I am a women.
Usage
This is an all around board for racing, touring etc.

This is a solid 12'6" flatwater paddleboard. It is excellent for recreational paddling and workouts on the water. It is a good choice for a first or only paddleboard.
Pros
The yellow deck means the board is highly visible in difficult conditions. The deck handle is the newer recessed type which makes it easy to pick up then lift onto your head. It's not especially fast but it's very reliable in choppy, difficult conditions. It also does not flip easily which broadsided by waves. This board is also pretty solid and doesn't damage easily.
Cons
The deck only has four attachment points. I wish it had six or eight for more equipment on long-distance paddles.
Usage
I paddle for exercise and touring on the Hudson River. I don't race, but this would be a good board for casual racing.
