The 9’10” x 33″ Turbo is a speed and stability boosted version of the late 9’8″ x 29″ Rockit (old model) with slightly more width and more thinned out rails. The pulled in nose and rounded pin tail make this a great all round surf and cruise board for lighter beginners, or more advanced riders up to 230 lbs. For recreational paddlers who paddle in areas with lots of wind, chop or texture in the ocean, the displacement nose on the Turbo helps penetrate through the chop and contributes to improved balance and performance in less than ideal paddling conditions. Modified in 2017 to be 1/4″ thinner, this board offers excellent surf performance for those who don’t want to sacrifice stability.
