Selling my P&H Capella 17' sea kayak. Well-used but in good condition: skeg works smoothly and hatches are dry. Includes Werner Cyprus carbon fiber paddle (215 cm; 2 piece straight shaft), home-made Greenland cedar paddle, Snap Dragon neoprene spray skirt (size medium), Seal Tropical Tour 2.0 (size medium), Palm spray top (size medium), Seal Tow Belt and a short tether. I removed the backband in the Capella and replaced it with custom-fit foam. The deck is in very good condition (very minor scratches); the hull has some gelcoat stress cracks and chips (none penetrate the fiberglass). This is hull number 430 as shown by manufacturer's label; no model number is listed (e.g., Capella 166, 163, etc) and manufacture date is unknown. Overall length is ~17 feet. I have really enjoyed this boat inshore and offshore, from skinny flat water to rough stuff offshore and surf. It is a fun boat that will take you and your camping gear anywhere. Parting with it because of geography and other priorities.
