Surf / Race 14'

This board is for open ocean racing and down winding. It has a lip around the cockpit that keeps your feet on the board when things get tippy. Pros This board can catch and ride open ocean swells and wind waves very easily. The rocker profile allows for long rides on swells and wind waves. decent cruising speed. cuts through chop going upwind quite well. Cons difficult to maintain course going cross wind. the board wants to turn downwind constantly. Not the fastest flat water board with the rocker profile, but excellent in the ocean. Usage I use this board in a variety of conditions, flat water, ocean and bay. I've dealt with all kinds of wind chop and boat wakes. I've been able to catch and ride boat wakes. I can catch small ocean waves long before they crest. Going down wind is a joy.
