So disappointed. The seat…

Submitted by: paddler509415 on 2/7/2020

So disappointed. The seat was a big problem. The metal clasps that hook the seat to the kayak bent on the very first use! The adjustable back support belt also snapped off. Weight capacity listed as 295lbs, definetely not accurate. The stern of the kayak kept dipping under the water. 165lbs person seemed to work ok. The short length & light weight allows for easy transport & lifting to the water. No need for a car rack with J hooks. 8.5 length fit perfectly inside my 2019 GMC Terrain. WOuld work well for children and light weight adults.

Bought a sit on top Eclipse…

Submitted by: paddler234729 on 7/9/2015
Bought a sit on top Eclipse to have a kayak I could just throw in the back of my Honda (seats folded down) and go. The kayak is okay... has a lot of storage area considering its a short boat. This kayak isn't fast but it is very stable and a dry ride. The attached seat isn't too comfortable for any prolonged use.

This kayak was on sale when I bought it... it's "okay"... not my favorite boat, easy to transport and gets me out on the water.
