Great boat but can be a bit pricey. If you can find one used, or lightly used that's the way to go. I'm not sure why others say its not stable, I have had no problems and logged may hours aboard it. I have a 14 footer and the extra size makes it feel great in a small ocean chop or boat wake.

Dubbed the "SS Tippy" by the group I was paddling with, this boat feels very unstable. It sits high in the water and feels about to tip over at any moment. I hope that soon this will be my previous boat.
Try before you buy! This has been an expensive lesson.

First boat that I've bought, retails for $950, spent $550 still think I paid too much for it. It has a sturdy hull and paddles pretty well. As far as being stable forget it, always feels as if you're going to tip over. Does not track very well, and the rudder is needed in order to go straight. Rudder design could be reworked, sometimes it won't stay up and when the rudder is down, can't get it back up.
