Elements

I have a 11'6" NSP Elements, I am 6' 5" at 240lbs, 63 years old. This is a great all around board, small wave surf, bayou touring, or just goofing around in the bay here in Fla...

I purchased an NSP 11'6"...

I purchased an NSP 11'6" board which was well used by its previous owners, a rental shop. And have to say there's a reason they purchased these boards as their stock rental boards. The NSP is built tough and made to last! I've used on calm days and up to chest high surf. With its full deck pad and tri-fin box its stable, easy to paddle and a lot of fun. Pros Very stable, I've put friends and family on it who've never been on a SUP and they were able to get the handle of it quick and effortlessly. Great board to bring to the beach on days with small surf. Cons Dropping in on bigger waves is really tough, its designed more for cruising and surfing small stuff. Its also a heavy board, takes a little effort to get it from point A to point B. Usage Fun board to use in small surf and for cruising around on calm days.

Honestly, if I had to have...

Honestly, if I had to have only one board, this would be the board. I'm 190lbs and it works on flat, surf, down winders in the best and WORST conditions. I have 3 other boards - 12.6 Tahoe, 14ft Coco Mat, and 12ft Bark. They are all great, but used for certain conditions. This 11.6 NSP is durable and so stable I can ride in really bad conditions (like 30mph down winder) and actually have a great time surfing bumps without worrying about stability at all. It's so durable, I am happy to lend it to family and friends even if they are beginners. Pros stability. anyone can ride it. able to surf it up to 5ft waves. fun even in very rough conditions. Cons it's not light, so wouldn't want to have my daughters carry it on long hauls...me either. Usage General paddles flat water and bumpy gulf. Fun for surfing and down winders.

I love my board. the stability makes me feel safe. It is fun to take my grandaughter along for a ride on front with face in water and her snorkle and mask she sees everything underwater. I really enjoyed touring the little islands in the lower keys and what a great workout in the wind! Pros love the stability. has never flipped in wind. can take passenger on front if i want Cons a little difficult with size and weight, loading on top of an suv and carrying it if I have any distance to water Usage in the florida keys , mostly flat water for exercise and touring

A larger all-purpose board...

A larger all-purpose board that is a joy on flatwater and is quite capable in chop and waves. My board has been used by a number of beginners and is a good board for introducing large people and kids to SUP. It's durable, so you don't need to worry about beginners dinging it. Works well for me and my dog. Pros Tough, durable board. Large padded surface for your feet. Capable of supporting large people and is pretty efficient for the width. Cons No cons. I may buy a longer faster board someday. Usage Touring, exercise.

Let's start out with, this...

Let's start out with, this board is awesome. I've had by NSP 11'6 now for three years. I'm out on it 3 to 4 times a week between April and October, for mostly touring and exercise. This board floats me fine I am 6'4" tall and my weight fluctuates between 250 and 300 and I have no problem carrying this board or mounting it to the top of my car. Pros Stability, thickness, length and padding Cons Can't really think of anything bad about this board Usage Touring and exercise

Had this board since July and got out 30 or 40 times so far, mostly on fairly calm ocean. Well made, good finish, reasonable weight for it's size. At 220L it will float anybody but still handles well. Stable and easy to paddle, I haven't fallen off yet. For my size (220)it was a perfect choice. My wife got the 10'2" and loves it.
I would buy this again.
