Yukon River Expedition

Trip Overview

Please note prices listed are in Canadian Dollars

The Yukon River flows north and west all the way to the Bering Strait through some of the wildest terrain in the world and it is best known for assisting the gold seekers during the Klondike Gold Rush. Admire the vast wilderness surrounding you, and enjoy the opportunity to see wildlife and partake in world-class fishing. As you paddle down this mighty river you will canoe past many famous landmarks and see relics of several steamships, old settler cabins, and gold dredges on the banks along the river. Lake Laberge showcases beautiful scenery and hiking opportunities, and the Thirty Mile Heritage River boasts beautiful clear water and many historic sites including Hootalinqua and Big Salmon Village. The second half of the adventure features Five Finger Rapids and the first Euro-American settlement on the upper Yukon River at Fort Selkirk. At the end of your journey you arrive in historic Dawson City where you will be able to live and play like the gold seekers did 100 years ago.
