This was a short float of about a mile just to check out Janes Creek. If the water had been any lower It would not have been floatable. Janes Creek is only floatable in the spring or after a substantial rainfall. It is floatable from the bridge south of the old Ring Church/School to its confluence with Spring River when water levels are up. There are a number of electric fence wires strung across the creek but the are all high enough to float under.
