Trip Overview

The White River from Hesperia to Pines Point National Forest Campground is a trip that offers a little of everything. The first hour is shallow as it takes you through private home and wooded areas - giving those who are unsure about paddling a feeling of comfort by being only a phone call away. The next 2 hours the river speeds up a bit but remains shallow as you paddle through sections of the Manistee National Forest. During higher water the last 2/3's of this trip is really exciting! Good landing is located at Pines Point
