Trip Overview

Kayaked from dam to dam, fishing along the ways near down trees and objects in water. Wind was nice and calm just enough to keep you cool.

This lake has charcoal grills in almost all parking lots, to cook your fish that you caught on your trip. I started at the far south-west "step dam" that serves as the water inlet for the lake. I would highly recommend paddling back into the inlet it was calm and very peaceful and was really neat.

I had lots of close encounters with wildlife; deer, muskrats, minks, and lots of migratory song birds. The fishing was great, caught lots of small mouth bass, some large mouth bass, black crappie, and sunfish.
