Trip Overview

I have made this trip several times. Put in at the Dam (Buzzards Roost) and take out just past the Hwy 121 bridge at the public boat ramp. I wanted to add, the worst part about this trip is access. One year we used ropes to lower the boat and gear off the bridge!

Here is a way:
Coming from Greenwood on Hwy 34, go over the bridge. As soon as the silver guardrail on the right side of the road ends, make a 180 degree turn. You will need a truck. I never used 4 wheel drive, but it was dry. Anyway, just go behind that rail all the way back to the river. You will be right at the water.
And if you want some company, email me!
