Trip Overview

The HWY 204 Redbird Bridge, Cumberland River, Williamsburg, Kentucky is a public canoe put in or take out (yes public).

It is a 17-mile trip to Cumberland Falls State Park. You can camp in the National Forest. You must camp 300 feet from the river. You can also make this trip in a day.

Just a great trip for the family or friends.

Accommodations:

You must camp along the river or stay in the Cumberland Falls State Park.

Fees:

No permit to camp in the National Forest, but you must be 300 feet from the river. No fees required and the Redbird 204 Bridge canoe put in is free and public.

Directions:

I-75 to Williamsburg, Kentucky, to HWY 204 about 6 miles from I-75
