Trip Overview

Me, my wife, and a good friend of ours were looking for a last minute place to spend a few hours. After an hour on google maps i was able to find something near by. Tuxachanie creek is a nice flowing creek that eventually runs into the Biloxi River. We dropped our car off at Tux Creek Inn,and went back to the put in. The put in is under a bridge on hwy 15. I attempted to drive my truck down the path to the creek, but it was very unstable. We saw 5 other vehicles parked along side were the path was, so we followed suite. We carried our kayaks down the path which was a lil ways down. The creek was nice flowing and semi cold. We paddled down until we hit a okay sized sandbar where we stopped and ate lunch. There were a few semi rapid parts, and one semi waterfall part. Towards the end of this route there was a rope swing where we stopped and tried it out for awhile, and swam around as well. We didn't see a single person on the creek, even after we made it to the take out, we still never saw anyone. Overall this was a very fun 4 hour last minute trip.
