Trip Overview

Trillium Lake was sparkly and beautiful today. The water was smooth as glass until about 9:30am when the wind kicked up, then it was hard going against it but effortless coasting back with nothing to do but steer! The Osprey were fishing, bombing down into the water very near us, showing us where the fish were, but we only caught one keeper trout. There's an easy, level 2 mile long trail around the lake. Lots of swimmers and fun family gatherings today and lots of happy boaters.
