Trip Overview

Went back to check out the north end of the lake. It’s very shallow and a lot of muck on the bottom. Some big fish are in there and kicked up a lot of mud (created long mug clouds) as I was paddling through. I figured there would be more stumps than there is, but the lily pads are very bad in this lake. I’ve seen a red ear slider (turtle) on the south end of the lake (near the dam/overflow). It was small, but looked healthy. In all, I had a fun day on the lake again and I can’t wait to come back:

Safety Notes

Watch for small stumps and go slow if on the lake.
