Tippecanoe River in Indiana

A self-supported trip created by guest-paddler

Trip Overview

Usually this is a pretty quiet river, but with all the rains we went up by the Oakdale Dam and rode some really good waves and rapids. We do this whenever the floodgates are open. It is a great visual and fun to paddle. If you don't want quite as much fun you can go down river and enjoy small rapids and holes.

Accommodations:

There are lots of motels around the town and Indiana Beach

Launches:

There are free put in sites close to the dam.
