Trip Overview

We put in at the park at 68th St in Alaska and paddled down to Cascade, Leslie Tassell Park. My son and I were in the Loon 15t and my wife and 3-year old daughter were in the new 12' Vapor.

We had current for the first mile or so then it was nothing. A bit breezy and a lot of paddling. The trip took 2 hours and a lot of work. I see that there are a lot of boats in slips along the way so this is no place for kayaking during the warm months at peak times; definitely a early morning trip. Airport traffic, highway bridges. Lots of houses, good experience. Easy in and out and back home in no time. Might do it again out of bordem.

Directions:
