Quick paddle on Reeds Lake in East Grand Rapids, MI. Unable to use the launch with this kayak, the bottom stuck to the deck. On the way to the water, we talked with a guy who had the same kayak who used the launch just fine, so probably our user error. Lake was not busy at all! We went around 1 PM and expected it to be packed--it was about 85 degrees and sunny, perfect Saturday! Water was warm but refreshing. Lazily paddled about half of the south shore of the lake. Lots of ducks, small birds, dragonflies, saw a few little fish jumping here and there. Next time we'll take the west side and go to the northwest corner marshy area.
