Temple Bar on Lake Mead

A self-supported trip created by Pertribe135

Trip Overview

Launched from Temple Bar Marina in Lake Mead National Recreation Area. Paddled across the lake towards Striper Bay. Incredible mountains and rock formations along the shore. The Temple, the rock formation the area is named for, is awesome. We paddled around the base of it towards Wild Burro Bay. Could see Delmar Butte and the Haystacks. Stark, rugged country.
