Trip Overview

We put in at Tenfoot Kayak Outfitters bridge. When you first get in you immediately go over a few rapids into the only logjam on the creek. The fishing is excellent from bass to bream and especially catfish. There's a few small rapids along the way but nothing that you couldnt bring your kids along with. I've floated several creeks around the area and I recommend this one. The current is pretty fast the whole ride so you don't have to paddle the whole way. There's several put-ins and take-out bridges along the way ranging from 2-8 hours. If catfishing is your preference I guarantee your basket will be full. There are several places to pull over and swim or just rest and get a bite to eat. There's plenty of wildlife to see from fish, deer, and other animals. The creek level is satisfying even if there is no rain. If you're not renting from the kayak shop you can put in and take out at no cost.
