Went for a nice calm paddle on Thompsons Lake in the height of summer. The parking area did fill up in the morning, but to be expected when there are only 6 spaces! Easy launch on paved ramp. Lake is smallish and easy to circumnavigate. We paddled across the lake and beached next to the swimming area, no problem at all and could use the facilities and have a snack. Overall a pleasant if unchallenging paddle.
