This was an easy, short river paddle with wheelchair-accessible canoe/kayak launches at both ends. Putting in at North Clinton River Park just off of Riverland Drive and ending at Rotary Park. We traveled on a morning after a heavy rain and no portage was required. Lots of Blue Herons spotted. I believe the 18th hole of Rammler Golf Course requires shooting accross the water, so when the signs say "watch for flying golf balls," they aren't kidding.
At Rotary Park, there is quite a walk from the launch back to the parking lot, but there is a nice rail system set up for transporting your boat.
