First time doing small rapids. Very excitting. Started at squirrel Rapids headed towards the Petawawa River. Made a pit stop for lunch then shortly after turned around. Would like to make it all the way down to the Petawawa River next time. Can hear a waterfall. Saw a large snapping turtle. Portage was overgrown and long. So decided to attempt paddling upstream. Worked out, but was tough work!

Decided to go up stream rather then portage around small rapids. Made it, but probably not the safest decision.
