Nice 4 to 5 hour paddle. "hellbender" rapid halfway down. Penland falls at the end with a 5 ft drop off. Very nice day trip on the toe river. Put in is at a public park and there is a designated take out right after the Penland falls. Both spots have public parking. I would def recommend this for a beginner to intermediate paddler
