Old Fields Bridge to Public Stream Access on River Road
After a few inches earlier in the week, today's water was fast. Most of the rapids were leveled out. The wind made it an adventure. 25 mph and from the left most of the way.
We managed a usual two and a half hour trip in a little under two. Water was cool but "refreshing". Glad I purchased the bilge pump now.

Public Stream Access.
No facilities unless you go back to town.

No fees or permits
Directions:
Rt 220 north of Moorefield about 2 miles to put in at Old Fields Bridge.
To reach the pull out, continue past the bridge PSA to River Rd on the left.
Go about 5 miles to the next PSA on the left.
