There are so many small, scenic ponds and lakes in the Twin Cities metro area to explore; this is one of them. Park on Viking Drive. The bank is a bit steep to walk down, so be prepared for that, but the walk is very short from road to water. Many people shore fish here, and when you paddle you'll probably see why: there are big bass in this lake.
