Lake Colby is a small, calm lake perfect for beginning kayakers. It's a good place to bring the kids, too. There's a playground, a nature walk, and bathrooms. Even on a windy day, the lake was an easy paddle. If you only have an hour but want time on the water, Lake Colby is a pleasant option.
