Trip Overview

Southwest Florida Kayak/Paddleboard Adventure Group went out for the day. Parking was great, and Kayak launch was unique and easy to use. We planned on doing the two loops you find here, but that did not happen. We love taking off shoots, and seeing where they go. Especially ones not on a map. So we kept going down small paths, getting further into the mangroves. Leading us to dead ends, and to unknown places even to Google maps. Lol. We went through uncharted areas for about 3 hours, till we ended up in the bay. So we paddled for about 45 minutes to the Matlacha Bridge, then down the canal back to the launch. We had an amazing time. We gave those spiders something to do, since our lead person took all the webs down. Lol

Safety Notes

Make sure you have Google maps, and turn the map to satellite so you can see where you are, and maybe a opening nearby.

Conditions

Water was calm.like glass. Sun was out. Perfect day to be on the water.
