A late Fall paddle. The lake was very quiet except for some activities on the shoreline or traffic on NH 41. We paddled the perimeter and nosed up towards Cook Pond before being stopped by a beaver dam (7.25 M). Water levels had been drawn down for fall maintenance of shoreline structures or the dam at the outlet. Not another soul on the lake and incredible mountain views. Probably would not do this in the summer months.
