Trip Overview
New York City Employees' Employment Verification System
(E-Sess)
Steps, Benefits Resources The Nycaps ESS is an online form used by city
employees to manage their human resources, payroll, tax and benefits data - in
line with PlaNYC's green initiative of eliminating paper pay stubs through
electronic pay stubs. In addition to managing HR data it also facilitates
changes in personal information and direct deposit preferences and can be
accessed 24/7 despite brief maintenance periods.NYCAPS ESS
To
obtain an employment verification letter for mortgage purposes, log on to
NYCAPS ESS with your username and password, click "Verification
Letters" tile on main dashboard, select "Employment Verification for
Mortgage", fill all required fields for submission (Note that process
could take up to 10 business days after date of submission), submit request.
NYCAPS
ESS makes it easy to keep track of your earnings on an ongoing basis by
clicking on the Pay Statement Summary tile in the Pay and Tax Information
section. This will open a PDF document displaying details like your gross
bi-weekly and annual salaries, taxes withheld from pay, deductions taken out
for leave time etc. Additionally you can access other related documents such as
W-2 forms, withholding tables etc.
Another
helpful function of NYCAPs ESS is the ability to update emergency contact
details. This feature ensures that in an emergency, the DOE can reach both you
and your emergency contacts. You can update this information via ESS by
inputting new phone numbers, mailing addresses or any relevant data into their
respective sections.
AirSlate
SignNow, for instance, provides an array of tools that help protect sensitive
information on an nycaps ess form. AirSlate SignNow meets ESIGN, UETA and eIDAS
legal frameworks and is easy to install on any device with advanced features
that enable users to insert images, blackout confidential details, add comments
and highlight text before sending via email, link or fax.
