Trip Overview

Walkerton, ON (Lobbies Park) to Paisley, ON

A few of us older, die-hards decided to leave on Thursday for a day of R&R, before the young guns leave on Friday around 4-6 pm

We paddle about 1.5 hr to 1st camp. On Saturday, we go from whenever we get up to 7pm which usually lets everyone catch up. We camp Sunday, get to Paisely around 4 pm most years - sometimes later if weather is good.

Last 3 years we have run into some pretty violent thunder storms. It rained so hard for 10 min the canoes were filling up. My canoe had about 1 in from filling up and we were still 20 min from paisley. The wives didn't seem to concerned... I OFTEN wonder WONDER about that every year, but they have BEEN THERE TO PICK US UP FOR 34 YEARS FOR MY WIFE THE "LOVELY DARLIN"
