Trip Overview

From the launch ramp on Highway 1 in Jenner, one can paddle the wide mouth to where the river meets the ocean, and on a calm day, it's possible to go out through the surf. Otherwise the mouth accesses the wide beach at Goat Rock State Park.

Up river, under the Highway 1 bridge, continue to the south side of the river to explore some wetlands channels.
