Trip Overview

Easy, gentle, and kind; The best way I know how to describe my trip. I set out about 3:30 pm and was back in my car heading home at 6:30 pm.

This is a quiet slow, and relaxing paddle up and down the Roundout Creek just out side of Stoneridge, NY in a sleepy town called High Falls. Parking is free and enough room for about 20 cars. Launching is a simple inclined asphalt ramp down to the creek. Great for beginners, nature lovers, and lazy paddlers.

Accommodations:

High Falls dining, and flea markets on weekends. Just a hop and skip away from Mohonk preserve.

Fees:

Totally free
