Trip Overview

March 1, 2009: Rocky Gorge and Triadelphia Reservoirs are open.

However this year, Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission (WSSC) has doubled the season permit from $30 to $60.
Day passes per person went from $3 to $5.
The boat mooring went from $20 to $75.

Also according to their recent newsletter (Jan-Mar), Seniors 65 or older, handicapped, or disabled there are NO Fees.

Accommodations:

Porta potty. Some picnic tables or small floatable pier at Tridelphia. Bring Toilet Paper and clothes pin for nose.

Fees:

Daily per person $5. Season $60.


Free if 65 or older, disabled or handicapped.


$75 to moor boat/kayak for season.

Directions:

Rocky Gorge - From Balto. Take 29 South. Just after RT 216, make left onto Old Columbia Rd (A golf driving range will be on the left). Follow the road to the right, then bear left, Ramp is on right side .25 to .50 miles.

Daily permits can be picked up during the week until 4 at the WSSC offices on Sweitzer La, 198 West off of RT 95.


Otherwise pick up and pay for permits at Brighton Dam Office.
