Find a clear path early morning high tide to get out and past the rocky beach and tide pools to explore the coastline. Can also launch from the sand but the surf can be very high. 6 caves between White Point and Terranea, one with possible entry at low tide. Can beach at Sacred Cove or Terranea for breaks.
Safety Notes
Submerged rocks are all around PV. Be aware.
Gear Notes
Bring a fog light even when its sunny as the fog can roll in quickly. This is a very busy container ship area so better to be safe then sorry.
Portage Notes
Sacred Coves and White Point are the only sand beaches with safe landing. All other spots are rock based so be careful.
