Remote Canoe Camping on Lake Umbagog

A self-supported trip created by BerkshireGeoff

Trip Overview

Eagle and Loon sighting every day, Loons calling all around us! Our very favorite site on Lake Umbagog in Errol, NH is remote site 4. 3 miles from the State Park Campground and wild. There is a fire ring, tent platform and picnic table on each site. Sites are spaced very far away so it is quite and lets you enjoy the surroundings. This was our 2nd year in a row out on this site in early August a great place for a canoe camping adventure. From our site the sunset is always a show!

Gear Notes

No water so bring plenty or use a filtration system. I have a great MSR pump with a ceramic filter.

Conditions

There is even a covered privy.
