4 Mile lake in the middle of East Grand Rapids with public launch for kayaks behind the fire station. Nice put in in the park also. There can be some waves in the middle of the lake when it's windy or from boats, but there are many fewer motor boats than you'd expect. Often you don't see any. The crew team practices there which is interesting to observe.
