Trip Overview

This is a great day paddle that a beginner can feel comfortable taking. There are a few easy rapids and hardly any strainers. There are lots of gravel bars to stop and play on and not bad fishing either.

Trip length is 11.5 miles. Take out at TWRA ramp in Adams next to Red River Canoe Campgrounds.

Accommodations:

Put in = no accommodations

Take out has campgrounds and bathhouse next to the ramp.

GPS - Porters Chapel Rd Adams Tn.

The put in is at Red River Canoe (cyclone springs). There is a 5 dollar parking charge. Put money in the honesty box.
