Trip Overview

In at Red River Park on Lower lake Road out at County Highway A 2 hr. 15 min. trip USGS.gov water temperature is 65 QFPS 132 Water level is average height. Water is very clear. Bottom of the river is mostly sandy. Water average level seem to be about 2-3 deep. Seen Crayfish, other fish and bald eagles. When going over falls do not use skigs. There are about 5 falls through the river today. 1st falls small. 2nd Freeman Falls. 3rd Gilmer Falls also Big Rock. 4th & 5th smaller falls.
