Trip Overview

Great location for observing wildlife, everything from Osprey to territorial beavers (and yes they will approach and splash at you).

Easy paddle thru calm still water, very peaceful.
No motor boats allowed.
Great local gem for a getaway after work.

Accommodations:

Picnic pavilions, restrooms; Boats can be rented near the boat landing

Fees:

$4 parking fee during the week and $5 on the weekend & holidays

Directions:

From Richmond - I-95 south to State Route 10 West. Left into Beach and follow the sign to the Park Entrance.
