The dirt parking area has room for 4-5 cars. From the launch, it's a short paddle downriver to Nequasset Lake. If you go in the other direction from the launch, you can paddle the twisty, sheltered river for a mile or so before reaching an obstruction that would require you to portage. There are a lot of downed trees in the river before that, but you can get around them. You can hear some road noise from Middle Road to the west. Didn't see much wildlife today. A nice paddle for a windy day when open water is too gusty.
